Size guidance for UK wingfoiling
- 65–75kg: typically 4.0–4.5m in 18–22 knots; add a 5.0m for lighter days.
- 75–85kg: a 4.5–5.5m covers most UK sessions; pair with a 3.5–4.0m for windier conditions.
- 85kg+: consider 5.5–6.0m for earlier lift and easier starts; add a 4.5m for stronger wind control.
- Gusty inland wind: size for control in the gusts — stable wings reduce fatigue and improve progression.
- Lightwind sessions: larger sizes or lightweight “PRO SL” constructions help generate earlier lift with less pumping effort.
