Dr.Tuba UniPump Valve Replacement System (I Insert) – XL Base

The UniPump Valve Replacement System is a true universal one-pump valve solution designed to replace virtually any standard one-pump valve on kites, wings (wingfoil), and inflatable tents. The special valve neck fits through most standard valve holes, making it a go-to fix for delaminated, damaged, or detached valves.

FAQ

How do I check which insert I need?
Open your kite or wing’s bladder access zip and inspect the current valve connection. If the hose connects straight in line, choose the I insert. If the hose turns immediately at 90°, choose the L insert.
Can I change insert type later?
Inserts are specific to your hose routing. It’s best to match your current setup to avoid unnecessary stress on the one-pump system.
When should I choose the XL (120mm) base?
Choose XL when the old valve is difficult to remove cleanly, or the bladder area around the valve is damaged and you want more adhesive coverage.
Will this fit my kite / wing?
It’s designed as a universal one-pump replacement and works where the valve hole diameter is at least 18mm. If you have a newer “Max Flow” style valve, it’s not the intended direct replacement.
What’s the difference between welded and glued valves?
The valve is welded to the Tear-Aid base (not glued). Welding fuses materials for a stronger long-term bond versus adhesive-only joins.
