DESIGN PROFILE
The Reedin SuperModel HTF 2025 takes the brand’s best-selling freeride kite to an entirely new level. Co-designed by Damien Girardin and Ralf Grösel, the latest generation has been completely refined with an updated profile, advanced bridle geometry, and Reedin’s cutting-edge Hybrid Torsion Frame 3 construction. The result is a lighter, livelier kite with quicker response, smoother handling, and reduced bar pressure, making it easier to ride, more intuitive in every condition, and more powerful when it’s time to boost big. From your first upwind rides to massive airs and stylish kiteloops, the SuperModel HTF is built to perform across all disciplines and wind conditions.
Engineered with a pulley-less bridle system for direct feedback, new trailing edge stiffeners for reduced drag, and repositioned back connectors for refined bar feel, this kite delivers unmatched confidence whether you’re chasing hangtime, looping harder, or carving waves. With lighter construction, stiffer bridle lines, and a straighter trailing edge for efficiency, the SuperModel HTF gives you more control in high winds and a buttery smooth catch after every jump. It’s the most responsive, versatile, and rider-friendly version yet, true to Reedin’s mission of creating gear that makes every session unforgettable.
FEATURES
-
Hybrid Torsion Frame 3 – extended FlexLite segments deliver even faster turning and a more responsive feel.
-
Pulley-less Bridle System – all-new geometry offers full depower and direct steering with zero pulleys.
-
Weight Reduction – smarter reinforcements shave off extra grams for a lighter, more agile kite.
-
Upgraded Bridle Lines – stiffer, half the weight (just 1.2 g/m) and reduced diameter to 1.4 mm for lower drag.
-
Trailing Edge Stiffeners – minimize drag at the kite’s edge during turns for smoother loops.
-
Repositioned Back Connectors – placed further back to improve bar feedback, leverage, and handling.
-
Refined Leading & Trailing Edge Shapes – straighter lines and shorter struts for reduced surface area, less weight, and greater
-
Easy to Ride – forgiving yet powerful, perfect for progression or high-level performance.
-
Intuitive Handling – feels like a natural extension of your body, so you always know where the kite is.
-
All-Condition Performance – tested worldwide in everything from steady breezes to gusty winds.
-
One Kite, Every Discipline – excels in freeride, freestyle, big air, wave riding, and foiling.

TECH SPECS
Stiff Dacron
The use of stiffer dacron in the center of the leading edge provides maximum stability and rigidity where the kite needs it the most.
Torsion Zone
The torsion zone is a segment in the leading edge made out of FLEXLITE.
FLEXLITE is made of a thinner, tighter yarn, that reacts quicker to pull and compression forces that happen in the material when a kite is steered. We’ve placed it on the sections of the frame that are key to making a kite turn, what we call the Torsion Zone.
Flex Tips
By placing FLEXLITE in the tips, you get a faster response to steering input. The stiff dacron in between the torsion zone and flex tips help translate the bending of the leading edge from the tip upwards.
FLEXSTRUT LITE
All struts are now made from new ultralight 90gsm material, not only reducing the kites overall weight, but also giving a smoother flex into the canopy when steering.
Increased torsion zone
Thanks to the new bridle geometry, they hold the shape of the kite better, which then allows for the FLEXLITE material to be placed another segment higher, allowing for more twist and thus a better steering kite. Effectively making SUPERMODEL 2025 both more solid and better steering.
