Introducing the NeilPryde Firefly - an all new design optimized for freestyle and surf. The Firefly combines the NP high lift concept (introduced on the original Fly to deliver both take off early AND light responsive handling) with a host of new features developed over a year of close collaboration with our Freestyle and Wave test team - significantly reduced wingspan for rotational maneuvers and wave riding, the new NP Mono Handle that functions like a boom but adds the drop grip feature, and a simplified airframe with a stiffer feel for smoother drifting and tricks that require backwind riding.

This unique feature set also makes the Firefly arguably the best wing on the market for schools and beginners - riders can use a smaller size and still be confident in their take off, the Mono handle makes that first grab and maneuvers as easy as possible, and the shorter wing span makes it better suited for kids and smaller riders.

EVOLUTION

Firefly is optimized for wave riding / freestyle and easy handling. It is also our easiest wing for beginners / intermediate wingers and smaller riders or kids.

Shape Differences	The Firefly has a greatly reduced wingspan for far lighter handling. Wing tips will will be less likely to touch in the water on rotations or side to side maneuvers on the waves. This reduced wingspan is also ideal for people who are learning to wing as this is the number 1 cause of falling when learning.
Mono Handle	Our new mono handle feels like a boom in your hands but adds the drop grip feature at the front for easy gybing / downwind flying. You'll love the way you can control the power in the wing with 1 hand while concentrating on chasing waves with the rest of your body.

High Lift Coefficient Concept	Drawing inspiration from the proven first generation FLY, the new Fly SL evolves the concept with flatter entry sections and increased canopy tension - this makes the wing point higher into the wind and extends the range while still retaining the responsive easy handling and early take off.
PVC Windows	We’ve chosen PVC for ultimate strength, maximum visibility and safety on the water.
Tubular Bag	The new tubular bag means that – even with the longer mono handle – the FireFly can be packed into a compact space without having to install/remove the handle every time the wing is inflated. Sometimes simple solutions are the best!
