KEY FEATURES
Refined Aerodynamic Profiles — New profile shaping improves front-hand pressure and creates a more comfortable, balanced and efficient riding experience across the wind range.
Radial Load-Distribution Canopy — The panel layout aligns the strongest thread lines with the primary loads generated in flight, helping the canopy manage tension and maintain its shape over time.
Teijin D2 and Teijin-75 Construction — Teijin D2 forms the main canopy, while new 75gsm trailing-edge panels reinforce areas exposed to the highest loads for improved performance and durability.
Three-Stage Hybrid Leading Edge — A tuned mix of leading-edge materials increases stiffness where it matters while keeping weight under control.
Lighter, Stiffer Wingtips — Updated wingtip materials improve trailing-edge control under load, reduce swing weight and create a more responsive feel through manoeuvres.
Rigid Single Boom and Redesigned Drop Strut — The boom provides a direct connection to the wing, while the revised strut position improves comfort and hand placement.
TruView Mesh Infill Panel — The revised infill panel improves visibility through the upper window, helping the rider remain aware of their surroundings.
DESIGNER NOTES
Designer Pat Goodman's focus for the latest Mantis was not to change the character riders value, but to refine the details that influence performance, comfort and durability. New aerodynamic profiles were developed to improve front-hand pressure and balance, while extensive canopy work created a more controlled load path.
The radial panel layout allows the canopy to manage flight loads more effectively and maintain its shape. Teijin-75 panels reinforce the highest-load trailing-edge zones, while revised internal tension settings, lighter and stiffer wingtips, the redesigned drop strut and improved mesh infill panel combine to make the Mantis feel more balanced, refined and efficient.

MANTIS V7 VS VISION VS VISION XL
The Mantis V7 is the powered performance all-rounder. Its flatter profile and lower dihedral favour apparent-wind speed, upwind angles, balanced flag-out handling and big-air performance. The Vision uses a fuller profile for easier low-end power and a more compact, accessible feel, while the Vision XL extends that approach into dedicated 6.5m and 7.5m light-wind sizes.
- Mantis V7 — choose it for speed, waves, upwind efficiency, direct acceleration and jumping
- Vision — choose it for immediate low-end pull, compact handling and everyday freeride or freestyle progression
- Vision XL — choose it for dedicated light-wind performance in 6.5m and 7.5m sizes
